CADFaster 3D model collaboration for iPad and iPhone

3D model viewing is about to get way more interesting. Just a little over a month ago, we featured a group of developers out of Finland aimed at shaking up the web-based CAD collaboration scene, CADfaster. They’re not disappointing at all.

Today, they release the news of their mobile applications for iPad and iPhone that will allow you to do the same thing as the stand-alone, desktop application. The “same thing” being, real time viewing and collaboration of your 3D CAD files. Here’s a first look at how you’ll be able to view your models and collaborate with others, where ever you are with your mobile device.

I don’t care how much gravy you put in your glovebox, modeling cars is one of the funnest activities to do. Even better when it’s just for fun and you don’t have someone yelling class-a surface this and curvature that while in the process of a vigorous leg waxing.

Tony Suarez from Mirimar, Florida doesn’t know jack about leg waxing (very well at least), but he’s got toy car modeling down. Here’s he first go at a pudgy, supped up sportster in a 8 minute vid to show you how it’s done.

Your Guitar Hero party is about to get 1000 times cooler and 1000 times more flammable. What’s the one thing that can distract people from awful video game playing skills while at the same time scaring away rats, badminton players and night harpies that could gnaw your face off? FIRE, but you probably knew that.

Chris Marion knows everything it takes to turn ordinary Guitar Hero into a flamefest of epic proportion. All you need are some propane tanks, manifolds and an assortment of fittings to get started off. Chris steps you through all it takes to get there and use a little bit of Motley Crue to show you the results. FLAME ON.
