3D Printing? Turns out it’s been a smash hit around the world. Inside 3D Printing is among the various trade shows that have been whipping up activity across the continents, bringing everyone from investors and businessmen to makers and start-ups. Now Inside 3D Printing Conference & Expo is hitting Hong Kong… for the first time.
In fact, this is the first significant 3D Print trade show to hit the coastal SAR, bringing two days of 3d print tech, 18 seminars and a line-up of speakers, including keynotes from Michele Marchesan, COO of 3D Systems, and Nave Rachman, Applications Manager at Stratasys. They’ll have the largest 3D print exhibition to boot, with all the regulars and some very specific to the Asia-Pacific 3d print scene.
“3D printing was invented quite some time ago, but due to the printers’ limited capabilities and the high costs associated with 3D printing during the technology’s infancy, it wasn’t really adopted or used extensively – until recently,” said Alan M. Meckler, Chairman and CEO of Mediabistro Inc. “Looking at how fast the 3D printing technology is currently developing, I think it’s only a matter of time until 3D printing completely revolutionizes all aspects of manufacturing. Hong Kong, being the gateway city to the world’s capital of manufacturing – China, is one of the most suitable locations for us to host Inside 3D Printing. If anyone wants to ride this upcoming economic boom, this conference and exposition is something not to be missed.”
