Paula Deen Signature Nonstick Cookware Set
Paula Deen Signature Nonstick Cookware Set

The Paula Deen Signature set comprises 1-quart and 2-quart saucepans with lids, a 5-quart Dutch oven with lid, 8-inch and 10-inch skillets, slotted turner, slotted and solid spoons, a pasta fork, and five measuring spoons. They are also available in three colors, giving your the choice to choose the set that will complement your kitchen design. On the other hand, the build of the cookware body is reasonably decent. They feel thick and have just the right heft. We wished the lids had vents, but they seemed to do their job when we tested them. They fit the pots and pans perfectly and sealed just the right amount of moisture inside.

lids of Paula Deen Signature Nonstick Cookware
The lids included fit nicely to the cookware pieces and effectively keep the heat, moisture, and flavors inside.

The handles are a bit thicker than we expected. They are padded and molded to guide your hands to establish a comfortable grip and prevent zero heat transfer. The inclusion of metal loops in them is also something to love as they allow you to hang the pieces. And despite the presence of pads, the cookware set is oven-safe up to 350°F!

Paula Deen Signature Dishwasher-Safe Nonstick Cookware set
The entire Paula Deen Signature set is dishwasher-safe for easy cleanup.

As for the performance, the PFOA-free traditional nonstick coating did an excellent job at preventing the stickiness of the food we seared, fried, and sauteed in the skillets. However, our experience with the Dutch oven and saucepans was different as they scorched the sauces we prepared. This part brought us to the ease of cleanup. Wiping the burnt sauces was easy, thanks to the effective nonstick coating in the cookware. They are also dishwasher-safe, so we had no problem cleaning them up. However, the exterior stains, which means it is almost impossible to keep them pristine for a long time. But for its affordable price, it can be ideal secondary cookware set for anyone.
