What’s the best thing to do when in Las Vegas? Get out of Las Vegas and go to the Grand Canyon. I had the chance to do just that while at Autodesk University last November, with Hardi Meybaum, CEO of grabtastical GrabCAD.

You could say those three share something in common. They’re big… Well, not Hardi so much. He’s quite tall though and he’s got big plans for GrabCAD. GrabCAD, like the Grand Canyon itself is quite large and, might I say, eroding the vast landscape of the cad industry with striated community-cranking spectacle. Yes I might. I asked Hardi about the origins of GrabCAD, the inspiration behind it and why, of all places, we were headed to the Grand Canyon.
