Although a majority of people may be more interested in analyzing the construction details of the latest iPhone design rather than something that came out of a blacksmith’s workshop, blacksmithing has seen a surge in popularity over the past few years thanks in part to the amount of YouTube videos that document the grueling process of hammering red-hot metal by hand.

Among others who have been openly sharing their process and techniques is Torbjörn Åhman – a professional blacksmith who not only creates a range of metal tools for others, but also creates his own tools for creating tools for others.
