It’s just what you’ll be doing with your head sticking out the top of your very own Mini-Tumbler Go-kart. Designed in SolidWorks and constructed over the blazing arc of 220V Welder, you now have to chance to join the ranks of the mini go-kart hero elite. Mr. T-man created the plans for this little gem. Now, they can be all yours.
I are Batmans in mine mini-tumbler
While the words ‘tumbler’, ‘go-kart’ and ‘exposed brain-cage’ don’t necessarily bring up thoughts of the safest situation, you now have the chance to combine all three. Tully of Tmanskarts.com has spent the last year re-creating the Tumbler, of recent Batman movies, as a smaller, lest costly go-kart version.
SolidWorks was used to design the kart, primarily using structural member features for the frame and sheet metal features for the paneling. I’ve never built anything like this in my life. The total time it took to create was about 9 months (4 on SolidWorks and 5 to build.) It cost about $1855.00, but the motor (6.5hp) and clutch (Comet 30 series) came from an older kart. Next, I’ll be replacing the steering components with a rack and pinion steering. In the process of creating the kart I kept a build log from start to present. It’s the first Tumbler kart in the world and has received a lot of attention.
Amazing T-man. Thousands, if not millions, can finally put that utility belt and black face paint to good use. For those that want to get started this weekend, you can purchase the plans right away on Ebay. For those wanting a little more insight or to see the kart in action, you absolutely must get out your batarangs and watch the following.
