The SolidSmack Cool Tools of Doom n’ Stuff is GO. This short video features some of the coolest finds we’ve discovered on the web this week.

This week we look at:

DESIGN
New Apple Releases – It’s been a big week for new tablet designs this past week. The iPad Air is the latest iPad announcement from Apple this week. Yes, this all-new full size iPad design weighs in at just 1 pound and joins an all new Retina display iPad mini, a new lineup of faster (and cheaper) Macbook Pros, as well as the all-new Mac Pro desktop computer. Pheeew Apple overload! Check those out over at Apple.com.

Surface Pro 2 and Lumia 2520 – And if Apple isn’t your cup of tea, be sure to check out the OTHER new tablet offerings from both Microsoft and Nokia. The new Surface 2 and Surface 2 Pro as well as Nokia’s Lumia 2520 are sure to make some Windows fans happy. Check those out at Microsoft.com and Nokia.com

APPS
OS X Mavericks – In other Apple news…they’re now offering up their new OS X Mavericks AND their entire iLife and iWork suites FOR FREE. Sure are. If iCloud, iLife, and iWork are your thing, then head over to the Mac App Store for those free downloads.

BrewBot – And if you’re looking for a great reason to break in your new Apple tablet, consider this BrewBot Smart Brewer. Yes, this beer brewing device allows you to brew REAL beer (not the fake, pixelated kind) via your iOS device. Already funded on Kickstarter, so keep an eye out for it when it hits retail markets soon at Cargo.io.

DIY
Leaf Shredder – If you get tired of jumping in all of those fallen leaves in your yard, then check out this DIY Wildflower Seed Processer and Leaf Shredder project from Instructables user ‘Robbtoberfest’. Yes, using an old metal trashcan and an old string trimmer, create a leaf shredder that ‘leaves’ you with a handy collection of wildflower seeds. Check it out over at Instructables!

Apple Cider Donuts – And once you’re done shreddin’ those leaves, you’ll probably have worked up quite the Fall-inspired, appetite. Yep, and nobody can argue that homemade Apple Cider Donuts are among one of the best parts of the Fall Season. This easy recipe from Food52 features easy-to-follow pictures for getting those highly-coveted donuts just right. Check out more over at Food52.

ROCK AWESOMENESS
Submarine Car – News Flash! Elon Musk is at it yet again with a new project. Having just purchased the iconic James Bond submarine car prop used in the film The Spy Who Loved Me—that would be a Lotus Esprit by the name of ‘Wet Nellie’, Musk is determined to mod it into an actual working submarine car. No word yet if it will come with concealed machine guns, but keep an eye out for updates nonetheless via Musk’s twitter feed.

ANKI Drive – And finally, ANKI Drive is the new toy car set that aims to bring the ‘video game experience’ into the physical world with their AI-powered car racing track. These aren’t your Hot Wheels of yore folks—with everything from multiple sensors on the cars themselves to a physical track-less floormat and iPhone controls, these sets are sure to be a hot commodity this holiday season. Available now for $199 at ANKI.com.
