solidworks cswp examIf you try to connect with Certified SolidWorks Professionals (CSWP’s) on the SolidWorks website you may have a little trouble finding exactly where those SolidWorks specialists are hiding. Don’t worry, the link is still there.

From SolidWorks Certification, “We had to change it due to the request by many CSWP members to keep their information confidential and control whether they were displayed or not.” The following are the procedures to show yourself as well as search for CSWP’s.

If you go to the main Certification page, about halfway down you’ll see a link to Certified SolidWorks Professionals.

To turn ON a User’s Listing in the CSWP Directory:

  1. Go to the CSWP Login.
  2. Login with the CSWP account email and password. If user has forgotten his password, he or she can recover it using the ‘Recover Lost Password’ link on the left of the login page.
  3. Once logged in, go to the top section labeled ‘Settings’ and click on ‘Click here’ This will lead you to the area where you can set your password or set the option to show your name in the CSWP directory. Click YES next to ‘List in Online Directory’.
  4. Hit button ‘Save Information’ to save changes.
  5. Log out of the system.

To us the CSWP Directory to find a CSWP:

  1. Go to the CSWP Login.
  2. In “Search” area on left, click on ‘Find a Certified User’.
  3. Use the options for a Search. For example, if you’re looking for a CSWP who was certified before Sept, 2007, use the option ‘Certified SolidWorks Professional’. If you’re looking for a CSWP who used the on-line CSWP exam, use the option ‘Certified SolidWorks Professional – Core Solid Modeling Specialist’
  4. After you’re finished, log out of the system.
