LEGO Nintendo GameCube case

I know, I know. We go a little LEGO crazy at times, but can you blame us with 400,000 piece VW van projects? You may recall the LEGO Nintendo Switch cartridge carrying case we shared. A simple build, but sometimes you just need a simple one to contrast the complex month-long builds. Reddit user squid50s is at it again with a new case for your Nintendo Switch games. His newest build takes inspiration from the 2001 Nintendo GameCube, the under-appreciated game console which had just as many exclusive games as it had chances of being mistaken for a home appliance. To mimic the tiny console, this even tinier LEGO case…

A temporal blast ripped through the leaves of the fork tine trees. The walls that had been constructed from shards of its metal bark were holding but we’d have to time the next blast just right if we were to make our escape down the vines of these links. The ADAM Project is an entirely separate company from Kwambio, but likely draws upon skills and staff from the first company, starting…

TechDay New York took place this year at the Javits Center in Manhattan on May 2nd. This event boasted over 300 startups on display, tech talks, and demos. I didn’t stand around for any talks, however, and went straight for the toys shown off in the booths. Here are some of the coolest hardware-type-tech things I found there. Video of Exhibitor Highlights Watch the video below to hear directly from some of the featured companies: ONEMOTOR This motor can be snapped on regular, human-powered contraptions like scooters or bicycles to make them electric rides in a flash. They even quickly snap on those bike-share bicycles you see in big cities!…

For a guy who doesn’t use computers, Philippe Starck sure loves to test the tech. He recently teamed up Kartell and Autodesk to showcase “the world’s first production chair” designed with the help of… I’m sorry, through a conversation with, Artificial Intelligence. Making the announcement at the Salone del Mobile furniture fair, the process… apologies again, conversation, between the two – designer + computer – was documented. This process evolved into a creative conversation much like what would happen between two humans. But to get there, we had to bridge the gap of understanding between the designer’s vision and what an intelligent yet still immature version of our A.I. was…
