Mechanical Engineering

While many graphic designers prefer Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, avid motorcycle fan and graphic designer Gareth Fowler uses Cinema 4D and Adobe After Effects to create some kickass concept 3D animations inspired by engines. Though his initial foray into Cinema 4D mostly consisted of static 3D images, his love of GIFs led him to experiment with his own animations and ‘virtual’ mechanical engineering experiments: Find more of Gareth’s animations on both his Instagram page and Tumblr blog. For the rest of his portfolio, be sure to check out his webpage, where he showcases his work as a graphic artist with some awesome drawings, logos, and much more.

Lada shorty weather balloon

If you’ve ever accidentally let go of a helium-filled balloon as a kid and watched it slowly float into the sky, chances are you’ve also wondered where it goes. Does it float past the point of no return and into space, thereby giving an extra-terrestrial child the joy of finding a free balloon? Even though it’s just as important as eating three square meals a day, not everyone practices proper dental care. On a busy day, most folks would just quickly brush their teeth (or forget to altogether) before hopping in a car and driving to work—much to the bummer of their coworkers. Encompass was made to give those with less than stellar dental hygiene their quick and proper toothbrush fix before taking on the rest of the day. By putting the J-shaped toothbrush in both halves of your mouth, you can effectively clean all your chompers in just 20 seconds, according to the company. The secret lies in the inflating bladder and…

Setting off toward the sun, stilting his was down the silted, ash lined maze of a murky mountainside trial, Fitz McBunkle… charged. Though his forearms were lined with blades and his single eye ablaze, it was a slight hesitation in his smirk, a mis-step and a burp, that caused one stilt to split and skewer all these links. Rudy Siswanto – Cartoonish? Yes, but no. Bright, bold colors with details and action that just make you want to keep exploring every image. Wildlife Photo of the Year – Fox vs Marmot. Pretty much sums it up. See this and all the photos from the pros and youth. White Tower -…
