There are three things I throw away on a daily basis; Scraps of wood, lint from the pocket of a woolen yak coat, and business cards. I dare you to throw this business card away. It may look like your standard 2.5″ x 3.0″ infocard of someone you met at that one conference, but it is, in fact, a carefully crafted art piece of identity spewing simplicity. Each one is and handmade with care by the creative team at perezramerstorer, an ‘austro-spanish multidisciplinary studio’ based in Madrid, Spain and Vienna, Austria. The client is actress Anne Lessmeister and they provide a behind the scenes look at the production process of this unique card.

The perezramerstorer team created the business cards for Anne as part of a larger project that included photography, animated gifs and a new website, all combining minimal, playful elements that compliment the other’s medium. The business cards stand out for their minimal appearance but also for the process that went into creating them. Perezramerstorer captured it on video and in doing so have perhaps brought a new appreciation to the analog communication tool.
