They’re among us. Little robots flitting about, busy with the task of taking over this part of the world and demolecularizing that part of the world, exploring caves and enjoying the natural setting of coastline and atmospheric radiation. It’s all but a few know of… till now.
Cris Rose, supreme leader of all creatures mechanically inclined to be experimentally adorable and mindfully anamorphic, invites you to mingle amongst the outer reaches of a damp, mossy tundra to meet his mighty armada of vinyl/resin figures.
Introducing Cris Rose
Cris Rose is an artist and purveyor of fine mixed media sculptures. Based out of London, UK, he mixes his passion for cool tech and nature into a bowl of vinyl, resin, metal, acrylic, spraypaint and other found objects to create a massive array of custom figurines. Some, he even develops up front with 3D model work using SolidWorks.
The resin figures I do are SolidWorks based, my Runcible and Rotund figures, and yes, the Medical bot too. The Poluto and Avalanche are custom versions of an existing vinyl figure that I’ve added pieces too and repainted.
Here’s a small sample of the figures he creates. Some fit in your palm, some stand brilliantly on your desk, waiting to do your bidding, all are extremely cool.
