blackbird guitar designed in solidworksYou can strum all day long and wear down the clearcoat on the wooden body of your regular old guitar, or you can be awesome and check out the humidity-proof, carbon fiber Blackbird Rider from Blackbird Guitars.

Picking out tunes can be done in either Steel or Nylon String flavors and you’ll have the added cool factor that it was completely designed in SolidWorks to handle those brawly hours of road travel and create a sound that is simply beautiful.

So, leave your classic in the case and check out these pics and video.

Clean, crisp design
The entire guitar from body to head is a single-piece, hollow-body construction with 1/32 (1mm) soundboard that will have you weighing in a light 3lbs heavier. What’s really unique about the guitar besides all of that is the location of the sound-hole located on a scoop that extends to the 10th fret. Incredibly unique to get the perfect sound. You can hear just how perfect the sound is here.
.
The price… a little bit more than your average First Act Discovery Ax. The Blackbird Rider Nylon string starts at $1899 and the the smaller Blackbird Rider steel-string starts at $1599.
