You remember that time you won a spanking for sketching all over your little brother with permanent marker? No? You’ve probably just repressed that event. No matter, because you can channel your creative sketching ability once again and win 1 MILLION spankings… in the form of your graphics being displayed to the thousands of people who have downloaded the Sketchbook Mobile app for their iPhone and iPad.

How could this be? Autodesk is calling for entries to the SketchBook Hero Image Contest. Here are the details…

Contest Details

Submit your best work created using any Autodesk® SketchBook® software application. The winning entry will become the next Hero Image for Autodesk® SketchBook® Mobile. The contest is free to enter and each contestant may submit one image. Autodesk will feature the winning artwork on the splash screen that displays every time the app launches.

Prize Eligibility
Only persons who are at least 18 years of age can enter.

Submission Period
The contest is open for submissions from October 18, 2010, to November 14, 2010.

Selection of Finalists
Once the submission period closes, Autodesk will choose finalists and post their images on the contest site for public viewing and voting.

Voting Period
Public voting will be open from November 30, 2010, to December 14, 2010. Each person may vote only once. The winner will be announced on December 21, 2010.
