If you’re an industrial designer, engineer or have any interest in manufacturing, then this is one event that you’re surely not going to want to miss.

The Design for Manufacturing Summit is a one-day event that hyper-focuses on “Connecting industrial designers, product developers, makers, engineers and manufacturers for a more decentralized, leaner manufacturing ecosystem”. Trust us, this is Grade-A good stuff.

Last year’s event featured a variety of panels ranging from launching a hardware startup to the near future of 3D printing and next-generation CAD tools to lessons on lean manufacturing and Design for Automation.

This year will feature an equally-impressive lineup of speakers including Ian Ferguson of FormLabs, Kegan Schouwenburg of SOLS, Matthew Borgatti of Super-Releaser Robotics and Diego Tamburini of Autodesk, among many others.

The event is just four hours long and is capped by a social hour at the end to talk one-on-one with each of the speakers – so if you go, get there on time!
