venice-jetski.jpgIt’s kind of an unprecedented move, but SolidWorks, the 3D corporation that has called Concord, Massachusetts home for the past 15 years, has finished the final paperwork to relocate most of it’s home office to Venice, Italy.

“[SolidWorks] felt it was time to be closer to lots of water and when some building became available in Venice, the timing couldn’t have been better… We feel the user-base will receive better support and have more options when planning a Mediterranean Cruise.” Yourk Razy, Swx PR

I’ve heard from some very reliable sources that this was done to shield the development team from outside influences as SolidWorks2009 draws neigh.

There also seems to be plans for a large purchase of Yamaha Jetskis and an early registration being filled for the North Eastern Italia Jetski Invitational on July 21st.
