I’m not sure if you realized it, but California has it’s very own 3D Print Week. Organized by Meckler Media, this week actually follows their first official 3D Print Week held in New York during April of 2015. It has become a way to organize all the aspects 3D printing has grown to encompass and expand what topics are covered, and 3D Print Week California will see the first conference zone dedicated to 3D printed vehicles.

3D Print Week California, held in Santa Clara (just outside San Jose, south of San Francisco, kicks off with Inside 3D Printing with the 3D Print Design Show coinciding. The 3D Print Vehicle Zone runs over Wednesday and Thursday of the week, with exhibition and talks focused on 3D Printed Vehicles. You can see the full schedule here.

Inside 3D Printing has received a grant to allow companies in the 3D printing automotive field to display their designs at no cost. The 3D Print Vehicle Zone is a two-day exhibition on October 21-22, where organizations creating products or parts for any type of vehicle will display the latest 3D printed concept vehicles and equipment.

If you’re an outfit working on 3D printed accessories for cars or printing entire cars, they have a limited amount of free exhibition space to get your innovation out in front of the throngs anxious to find out where 3D printing is headed.

If you’re someone simply interested in how companies are using 3D printing in the automotive industry, this is certainly the opportunity to get an in-depth look at what they are doing, how they are doing it and what could be the start of entire 3D print industry offshoot.

Along with the 3D Print Vehicle Zone, the event will host a Startup Competition, a Virtual Reality Summit, an Exhibition Hall, a few dinners and 18 different tracks with related work in 3D printing.
