Apple Shatters Cloud Storage Price Ceiling with iCloud. Will CAD Follow?

In the amazing world of all things oozing Apple, a ripe, pasty white “industry-leading offer” was announced during today’s WWDC. Apple is launching iTunes Match, a service that, get this…matches your music library with that of iTunes, and makes it all available online via their new iCloud mass storage service. The cost? $24.99 per year – unlimited. No uploading, no organizing. It simply matches your ripped Danzig box set with the version available on the iTunes store. It’s pummeling other online media offerings of late, namely Google’s craptastic entry of Google Music. But what about the CAD industry? Could this set a standard for pricing cloud services or matching your models?

This Lamborghini concept was recently done as a Master’s thesis project by Victor Filipchenko at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan. With the guidance Portuguese designer Simoyshem Nelson and Filippo Perini, Head of Design Automobili Lamborghini SpA, Filipchenko has created the most stunning Lamborghini concept in years. It’s called the Lamborghini Cnossus.

If you’ve watched the community car building experience at Local Motors, you’ll know just how unique the Rally Fighter is. With a massive list of co-creators, the car went from a concept to a 6.2-liter V8 engine beast with an automatic transmission pushing 430 horsepower and 424 lb/ft of torque in a short 2 years.
