Historically, farmers have been some of the most resourceful and intelligent hackers and tinkerers when it comes to solving problems…be it a broken axle or an ingenious solution for watering their crops.
It comes with little surprise then that when faced with the problem of bears getting into his crops, Turkish farmer Mustafa Karasungur took matters into his own hands and invented a terrifying 25,000-volt robot that shocks anything—humans included—that comes into its path.
The straight-out-of-a-horror-flick pale robotic man wears a tin hat, dons a thick black beard, has frightening red eyes and wails his arms around as he comes at you like a bat out of hell whilst perched atop a wooden platform with wheels:

According to the 46-year-old Karasungur, the robot can also act as a ‘mobile power supply’ in the case that your Bluetooth speaker dies while tending the wheat.
Sadly—while he has over 30 years of experience tinkering with electronics (the mark of a true DIY’er), Karasungur has no plans to bring the toy pistol-wielding robot to market due to the fear of attacking innocent young children or other unsuspecting humans that cross its path of destruction.
If you ever find yourself in the Gölbaşı Village in Eastern Turkey, keep your wits about as you now know that there are both bears and a terrifying DIY robot on the loose.
