Located in San Francisco, the award-winning industrial design studio of Mike and Maaike have dabbled in everything from BBQ grills to wallpaper and bookshelves to driverless automobiles. With their future-forward approach to design-thinking it comes with little surprise that their luggage designs for Apple-favorite Incase are perhaps the most forward-thinking and functional luggage designs for the modern day traveler.

Incase EO Travel Collection

Few can argue that one of the most inconvenient aspects of modern day airport security is the removal of tech devices from your carry-on while also worrying if you have any coins in your back pocket. Even existing luggage/backpack designs that incorporate ‘a laptop sleeve’ often don’t consider the placement behind everything else in your bag, and the disaster of having a pile of cords and undergarments falling all over the security dress-down station. Designed for Incase, design studio Mike and Maaike have appeared to have solved this annoying problem for the tech savvy 21st century traveler.

Optimized for technology protection and ease-of-access, organization during the airport security process, and aesthetics, the EO Travel Collection is a welcome addition for next-generation travel. Until laptops are able to take a ride down the conveyor belt, this just might be the next best thing.
