When it comes to curating tomorrow’s fashions and other must-haves of the season, most might turn their attention to the runways of New York and Paris during Fashion Week. Or at least one of the multiple lifestyle fashion tradeshows that pop up throughout the year. Needless to say, few might ever expect to find a curated collection of goods taken directly from the pages of a McMaster-Carr catalog (and no – these aren’t screws and wingnuts).

Yet, the team of three multidisciplinary designers behind Masterlist have scoured through the pages of the iconic yellow catalog to bring us a collection of curated goods.

“As designers, engineers, artists, and coders, we’ve come to rely on and love the McMaster-Carr catalog,” says the Masterlist team.

“From its vast selection of over 500,000 products to its lightning fast ground shipping, it’s our go-to source for so many things. Since 1901, their catalog has been distributed only to established customers, making it a coveted and respected resource. We love the catalog so much, we wanted to share it with the world outside of design, engineering, and fabrication.”

In addition to curating the content, the designers also took their time to photograph each item and present as more of a lifestyle product than something that you might see wedged between pages upon pages of fastening hardware.

“McMaster is filled with products, and sometimes it’s nice to just flip through the catalog and see what’s in there,” the team recently told SolidSmack. “Most of the time, you find things that you had no idea existed.”

Although the team has set up the site independently from McMaster-Carr, all of the products link directly back to the McMaster-Carr website. Check out the Masterlist over at Masterlist.co
