Too late! This contest is over! See the winners below in the comments section and stay tuned for more contests and giveaways on SolidSmack!

It’s been a while since we’ve had a giveaway on SolidSmack. The tips of our elbows tend to get dry and scaly when that happens, so let’s spread the moisturizing bliss of free software on them. ahhh. I know you’re all going to love this. Backup4all is backup and restore software and while it serves the simple function that a lot of other backup software serves, it has loads of configuration options that put it a couple notches above the others. We’re giving away 10 copies of the Pro version and throwing in another big prize as well. Here’s a quick look and how to enter.

Backup4All

I’ve actually been looking for a good backup solution for a while now. There are so many options for backup software… so many. I’ve used, what feels like, a majority of them and always have problems with configuring it exactly how I need the backup to work. I use Backblaze for offiste backup on one computer and I’ve tried Mozy, EASEUS, Cobian, Personal Backup and others, but I needed something at home to manage files across a network – between computers, devices and a massive NAS (network attached storage) drive that was EASY and highly configurable. It’s about that time I came across Backup4all. I tried it, and it’s just absolutely, freakin’ awesome. Not only does it have a great interface, it also allows you to backup from anything, to anything. Plus, it’s got a ton of options to backup program settings, files and browser profiles (with free plugins.)

  • Backup and Restore
  • Huge list of Backup plugins
  • Backup to DVD, USB, FTP
  • Zip compression
  • Version tracking

Backup4all Pro sells for $49.95, but here at SolidSmack, we’re giving away 10 copies (and maybe some more) of what I’m convinced is the best Backup solution I’ve used to date. Here are a few more shots of the interface, the options and the advanced setting for creating a backup, this screenshot showing the source files from a folder of a computer on a local network.
