Do you ever look at a chair and say, “that thing looks so uncomfortable.” and then you sit in it and yeah, it’s uncomfortable but then your like, “wellll, it’s kinda comfortable.”

I have two of them at home. My wife thinks they're torture devices. I love them. They flank an Eileen Gray chrome & glass table. A shrine to mid-century classic furniture.

Nice looking chair. It has a minimalist look to it that I find intriguing. I will agree that it does appear to be uncomfortable looking at it. Depending on the material used for the seat and backing would determine the "Comfortability Factor". Nice rending on it.

Thanks Rod. I like this chair. An employer I worked for had one and nobody would ever sit in it. I don't remember anyone ever sitting in it. It was almost like a piece of artwork. I did sit in it though. I'd prefer a little more... padding I guess :)

I could see people not wanting to sit in because it looks a bit arty. Depending on where the employer had it positioned, it could be easily construed as a chair to look at rather than one to sit on.

It does remind a bit of those fold up camp chairs you can buy just about anywhere nowdays.
