Whether you’re recharging your mind with coffee or recharging your iPhone, you want to do it with style, you want to do it with ease and of course say, you want to say, I saw it on Solidsmack and bought it on Kickstarter. This week we bring your two projects that are crucial to charging up before going off to CAD, bike, write or .
Floating Mug
Inspiration hit Tigere Chigara after relocating to North Carolina and being trained out of his old bachelor habits by his wife–a cup with a built in coaster–a floating cup. Double walled mugs were never his thing. Tigere wanted to embrace the warmth of a cup of tea through the porcelain. Then one day…”I went to reach for a banana off the banana holder, the concept hit me like stain on wood. That’s when the floating mug concept was born.” These mugs are going for a hot $40 bucks a pop. Tigere has already doubled his target of $15,000. You have until July 31st to make your preorder.
ChargeCard for iPhone/Android
When I read the name and saw the picture, I thought this was some sort of revision of the chip card. Upon closer inspection, the ChargeCard is nothing of the sort. Rather, it is a low-profile pocket charger. I know, another damn mobile accessory, but this one is unique–It fits inside my overburdened wallet. Now, if it could only double as a stand, this would be a winner for those constant reader-at-the-dinner-table types. This project is sitting at $64,000, smashing its $50,000 goal, with plenty of time to go. The ChargeCard goes for $20 with other options too.
