There are many ways to level up a character, using quests or passing only dungeons. Many players have already made the best route for a long time, so as not to waste a lot of time. But for newcomers who first enter World of Warcraft, it will be difficult to understand all the nuances of a multiplayer game.
A character in World of Warcraft gains experience by killing monsters, completing quests, or completing dungeons. Also, a little exp is issued for researching new locations, professions, arenas, and battlefields. With each level, the amount of experience grows, so over time, pumping is a little delayed. In the current Shadowlands, the maximum level is 70. You have to pump the character from 1 to 60 in the old patches, after which the automatic acceptance quest. And you will be sent to new locations Shadowlands.
The game has seven old add-ons where you can upgrade your character from level 1 to level 60:
- The Burning Crusade;
- Wrath of the Lich king;
- Cataclysm;
- Mists of Pandaria;
- Warlords of Draenor;
- Legion;
- Battle for Azeroth.
You can also stay in the very first expansion, the classic version, which is limited to only a small part of the continents. But this will greatly slow you down in the passage since the quests are very long and very scattered throughout the area.
Which add-on to choose for pumping
The most convenient add-ons for quick pumping are Warlords of Draenor and Legion. In these patches are a lot of story and side quests, there are mini-bosses, dungeons, and flights are also available. In parallel with leveling in Legion, you can quest of your class, which will open access to transmogrification. These items are unique, which is why many new players return to Legion to unlock transmog.
As for the leveling method, the most optimal is the hybrid version, when most of the time you do quests and queue up to search for dungeons. For the passage of one dungeon, the character receives 30-40k experience, this is almost one level. For completing a normal task, 5-6k experience is given. But quests are done much faster, and the queue and the passage of the dungeon itself take 15-20 minutes.
If earlier there were special items that increased the percentage of experience gained. Heirloom weapons and equipment gave a significant boost wow when pumping (up to 50% exp). Now, these items have been heavily reworked: the bonus to experience after rest is spent 30% more slowly. These things are only relevant because of the growth of characteristics and the character’s level, making it easier to change items for newer ones constantly.
There is another way to level up a character – this is boosting. Instead of you, another person will take care of this task. He will log in under your account and upgrade the hero in 6-8 hours. So much time will be enough to get up to level 70. Or you can download pumping up to level 60 and raise the remaining 10 on your own, just getting acquainted with the new locations of the Shadowlands. Boosting allows you to carefully customize the ordered services, monitor progress, and be sure of the security of your account.
