SolidWorks World 2008 Fin

I’m Irish pubbin’ it out at the DFW terminal trying to recuperate from the last three days. Tired, exhausted, can’t wait to get home but what a blast.

I have 78 different things across 7 categories I’ve started compiling. That’s way to many. If there’s something about world you’re particularly interested in, hit the comments, or tell me to can it and get back to regular post about auto toilet paper dispensers and random crap.

  • Ok, here's my list.

    Any improvements/feature regarding Tolerance Stackups for 2009
    Any different licensing for 2009
    Any changes to maintenance fees
    Any new PhotoWorks features (aka faster rendering ala Bunkspeed Hypershot)
    Any animation improvements
    Any new/improved features for assemblies in 2009
    Any buzz about the interface changes
    Any hint of lower pricing/new packages
    Does Apple use SolidWorks, or what's the deal with all the apple talk and product placement?

    Geez, I could go on forever, baby!
  • Almost forgot, WHO won in the Design Constest? In each category?
  • How about Benchmarking the Solidworks Stick vs. hard driver version. Faster/slower, any advantages/disadvantages. Any limitations to the USB version. ANY WAY I CAN GET ONE!
  • Josh...get home...kick off your shoes...relax...hang your head and take a nap (minus the drool). When you awake with your batteries recharged...BLOG AWAY my friend!!! I did not get the chance to go to SWW so fill me up with info! It's cold up here in New England (yes, I am a die hard Pats fan) so don't forget to blog about how nice the weather was in San Diego.
