SolidSmack 2-Minute Tut!… (soon to be video-ized)

Allright, I’m not doing anyone any good by delaying some SolidWorks tutorial goodness just because I can’t get my video act together, so without further ado, I will introduce the SolidSmack 2-minute Tut… soon to be video-ized.

2-minutes of your time in exchange for lessons in glorious 3D SolidWorks, along with supporting images. I’ll post the first one… later today, but I also want to get ideas of what kind of tutorials you would like to see.

This is your chance to totally control the content of SolidSmack and manipulate my will to the breaking point. So, what kind of Tutorials do you want to see?

  • How about one on setting up all the new productivity features since version 2007 (shortcut menu, command manager tabs) that you've found to be the most helpful. Alot of people have complained about the new interface, but the short time that I got to play with 2008, I found there to be a LOT of helpful new tools. How about showing us your setup?

How about one where you ran into a bug, and the thought process behind coming up with a workaround.

Do a side by side comparison of modeling the earthling way vs the ninja way?

Using sketch blocks to design your ideal robot.
  • Great idea Bruce. all of 'em. Would be good for video too... if I ever get my computer working right. Thanks for the suggestions man!
