How Big Do You Make Something to Move a Boat?

Now, this wasn’t designed in SolidWorks. It’s a civil engineering project done by TG&P out of the UK, but looking through the Falkirk Wheel site you can imagine what could be done in SolidWorks. This is just a great example of how you can have incredible form with a unique fuction.

I have seen this on one of the shows on cable. I think it was Modern Marvels.
It is a really cool bit of engineering. I would not mind making a trip to go see it.
