Well, if you add a little style and a some hydraulic planetary gear units I’d have to say, about this big…

Now, this wasn’t designed in SolidWorks. It’s a civil engineering project done by TG&P out of the UK, but looking through the Falkirk Wheel site you can imagine what could be done in SolidWorks. This is just a great example of how you can have incredible form with a unique fuction.

It is a really cool bit of engineering. I would not mind making a trip to go see it.
