    I was familiar with BaseCamp but not some of the others. Thanks for compiling the list. I will have to check these out.

    Josh,

    Great list of sites to check out. I have not heard of most of them. It will be interesting to see what they all have to offer.

    Cheers,

    Anna

    Thanks Jeff and Anna. I think the most intersting/different is FormatPixel.com. That is so different and just cool. I had no idea about it until a little while ago, but it’s a content creators dream.

    That’s nice thing you’ve picked all these tools, but who’s gonna tell a guy looking for some useful tool, which one of these he should choose? I’ll tell you my story in short. I spend almost a month surfing the web, trying to find something affordable and really helpful. I’ve visited lots of forums and people were pointing at wrike.com, so I decided to check it out and I don’t regret it. See for yourself http://www.wrike.com

    Hi Net harry, this is by no means a comprehensive list. Thanks for the additional product. It looks like it has a great interface and the timeline is a nice addition I haven’t seen in some others.

    I also just found this other site that may help in picking a solution. It’s called Projectizer and has a lot of info on some of the ones I mention above as well as some others. They also have categories for Calendar, Tasks, and Groupware along with a feed for the site. It hasn’t been updated since August which makes me wonder, but it’s a good start.

    Great post on organization Josh!!! Another great place to pickup a variety of organizational information is at http://www.lifehacker.com

    LifeHacker is excellent. That is one of my top 5 blogs for sure. one of my others is mashable.com

    Hey - thanks for including us in your list (and with good company too). We just released some nice upgrades to ProjectSpaces. Here’s a quick overview of some of what’s new:

    * Multiple file uploader

    * iCAL support

    * Contact export

    * Customizable homepages

    * Hierarchical task lists in a new “Workplan” tab

    * More RSS! - Adding RSS was so popular we decided to add another feed. Now Project users can elect to track new content across all your Projects with just a single feed.

    Let us know what you think!

    Thanks,

    Josh,

    I see no familiar names except have some prior experience with Google Docs. I will definitely take a look at these. Are these all project management tools? I have integrated CommuniClique’s web-based project online collaboration software into my developing business several months ago after a friend referred me to the free 30-day promotion they are running now. I cant be happier with the results I have been getting. I am always looking for efficient programs to implement in my developing business. Thanks for the list.

    Best Regards,
    Benny Tam

    Hi Benny, They all have to do with organizing or managing projects and I’ve use these here at least a little. I prefer the free ones, even though they have fewer features sometimes. I think at least having a free version open up more imaginative ways of creating revenue for the company. no doubt, if the product is good enough people will pay, activecollab, seems to have done well, they were once “the free version of Basecamp” but since have such a large user base they were able to expand into commercial versions. anyway, thanks for the comment. I’ll look into that site you mention.

    Benny,

    I couldn’t agree with you more . I have also implemented Communiclique into my office and I have seen WONDERFUL results from the use of this product. After the 30 days I was hooked. I understand that you like Free Software Josh however, voice over IP makes the cost worth it. Check out the site
