Do you know if the move/copy body feature can be controlled externally in future
SW versions?

My only dislike of this feature is (unless you have mates to dimensioned sketch points) you cant change them specific to configurations or externally edit them?

It would make the feature perfect if you could control it from a design table etc.

Hi Justin. Thanks for mentioning that! I like using that feature but find it quicker to build the context into the part, instead of adding all the mates to the bodies. For more complicated part-assemblies it would for sure be better to use the Move/Copy Bodies command. Thanks!

To others reading this, if you're interested in what Justin brings up, you can just draw a bunch of parts out in space, or in context, and then use Insert, Feature, Move/Copy... to mate the bodies to each other. This would help if you have a particularly complicated body or something you don't want created in context to something else. Try it out! and thanks again Justin!

Have you tried using the move body option as an explode tool. Create the part as normal (not merging bodies) and then use this tool at the end.
You may need to use it a few times (not as cool as the assem explode) the move rotate triad makes it very easy to move how you desire.

You can use the config idea in the same way by just unsuppressing and suppressing the move features.

Think the whole exploded part idea is pretty cool!
