fujikawa-350It was more than any single person could bare to look at. All this soup and one small runt of a raccoon baby to eat it. There was buttered toast as well, with jam and a side of these links.

Render Robot Illustration – If you don’t look at Norio Fujikawa’s portfolio, you will kick yourself in the face repeatedly. Rippin’ SWEET.
Easily Pin Folders – Vista has some annoying qualities. Pinning folders to the start menu is one of them. Here’s the easy way.
Coraline – Heralded and the most visually stunning 3D experience yet, this Tim Burton Henry Selick movie even has a cool website. Check it out, go see the flick.
Ultimate Computer Repair Utility – This all-in-one, self-contained set of programs will be an asset for any computer cleanin’ geek.***
Amplified Journeys – Cool new site from harmon/kardon. Put your travel route, music preference and get a playlist. great way to find new tunes.
30+ Sites When You’re Laid-Off – Now, somebody just needs to roll these into one site, but no need to be picky.
Easy Photoshop Color replacement – easy? really easy.

Update: the original site for the repair kit had to take the zip file down, but you can still put it together from the list.

  • I question how toasters have formed a mob in the capitol of Iceland. Any how, here is me commentary on this post

Render Robot Illustration: Its cool, it Japanese. I like it!

Pin Folders: Extra Handy Windows Tip. PS: I believe the How-To-Geek is a guest contributor/editor on Lifehacker now

Coraline: Wil Wheaton blogged on it, nuff said.

Ultimate Computer Repair Utility: Damn awesome list of tools. Bookmarked and will start gathering the tools to build my own USB stick with the goodies.

Amplified Journeys: If I had an iPod it would be neat.

Photshop color replacement: I am always amazed by what this program can do.
  • Regarding the ultimate computer repair utility, I definitely agree with JKDefrag. Good stuff. I'd also add WinDirStat (http://windirstat.info/), a utility that visually describes how files take up space on your hard drive.
  • Thanks for the other program Brad! Looks GREAT.
  • The biggest reason I've used WinDirStat is to find those pesky COSMOSWorks/Simulation results files that are tucked away in folders which I've forgotten about. With WinDirStat, they show up as giant blobs that are impossible to miss.

For all the Mac users out there check out Disk Inventory X. Looks the same as WDS.

Coraline ISN'T TIM BURTON. It's directed by Henry Selick & written by Neil Gaiman.
  • you're correct. my bad. Henry Selick did inded direct it, as well as Christmas. Christmas was a Burton production, hence some misinformation floating around on the interwebs. thanks.
