  • About the deskop replacement most of them think you use your desktop as an painting. But I use my desktop where I put files where I am working on. This way I don't lose sight of them and don't forget doing it. Most replacement fail in this. This is why I love bumptop that desktop replacement does keep in mind it is a place to put files on and you working with it not seeing useless information and pretty pictures. Signup for bumptop is here http://bumptop.com/ (i got it already nah nah nah :P )
  • I'm still waiting for a bumptop invite. I know you would send me one if you had it :)

9/10 on the robot quiz. Almost, enough for an 'A' guess, but not quite perfect. A robot would have been perfect...
  • COOL. I got 8 out of 10... and I stil have my geek card. phew.
  • Desktop customization... that's the one thing I miss the most about my days in Linux. Instead of having "a desktop," I had "my desktop."

Now I'm a Mac-at-home, Windows-at-work kinda guy. The last thing my video card at work needs is more eye candy, so I'll pass on the Windows customizations... but perhaps I'll get around to tweaking my macs at home.
  • Same way I feel. 'my personal desktop' for how I work. It's odd to me that a desktop has hardly been the focus of a utility for better performance, melding it with the programs you use instead of a stretched static image of a beloved pet. ahy.
  • Interesting post. I have made a twitter post about this. My friends will enjoy reading it also.
