Cooler Than Cool: Develop3D Magazine Out Soon Plus Free Subscription

by Josh on June 18, 2008 · View Comments

The brand spankin’ new 3D technology magazine, Develop3D, has just gone to print. You’ll definitely want to get your hands on this, because for one thing, yours truly is a columnist for the fine outfit based out of UK.

I gotta say, I’m not a regular industry magazine reader, but the way this is laid out and what I’ve seen of it already totally blows everything else out of the CAD-infested waters. If you want a fresh look at the technologies out there and what’s around the bend, check out the magazine and get your free subscription.

You can get the Free Develop3D Subscription Here.

what I love most about having you as a columnist is that its not just MY face that’s peering out of the page in a slightly disturbing manner.. and yeah – it looks rocking man – I’m gagging to see it in the paper…

Looking forward to getting this soon Al. The quality of MCAD dropped like a stone after the Al, Martyn and Greg show left town.

As for you not getting it free in the USA and Canada…….

Let me buy engineering software at USA prices and I’ll personally deliver your copy every month :-)

Bummer about no print copy. PDF just doesn’t do it for me.

w00t! Josh, I’ll need an autographed copy!

Much as we’d like to we just can’t afford to send DEVELOP3D to the States for free. And i just don’t think Kevin would get that many mags in his hand luggage.

However, we’ll be looking into paid subscriptions in the near future, and we’ll be letting all our PDF subscribers know the details as soon as we’ve sorted the logistics out.

Greg Corke June 19, 2008 at 1:15 pm

Oh, and Josh’s column (and his face) will appear in all its glory in the PDF version.

The paper copy plopped onto my desk today, an interesting read and it’s applicable which is more than I can say for some magazines.

Cool AP! Thanks for letting us know it’s out. Hope some paper copies make it to the US too!

Josh,

Just got my copy a couple of days ago all the way from the UK! Great article featuring the ease of use interface b/w Mol, Spaceclaim, and SW.

Will you be a regular contributor to the magazine?

Has anyone received their electronic copy yet? I signed up right after this was posted but have yet to see anything. I just went to their site to sign back up (in case something had happened) but it told me I was already signed up.
From what I see it looks like a great magazine so want to make sure I get my copy…

Like the look of it. Was a shame about MCAD Magazine.
