Adobe Acrobat Users Community is running a contest for users to submit example of 3D PDFs that show the capabilities of Acrobat 3D and 3D PDFs. Other prizes include Apple iPhones, Apple Video iPods, 3Dconnexion navigation devices, Acrobat 3D, PhotoShop CS 3 E, and the Technical Communication Suite. It’s running Oct 15, 2007 – Jan 31, 2008.

SolidSmack is a very small behemoth of an online community about 3D CAD, technology, design, robots, and ninjas… Ok, maybe not ninjas so much, but those guys are COOL so there just might be something about some dang ninjas.

Hey Bruce. As far as I know it is. The contest ended Jan 31 though. The Acrobat 3D blog isn’t updated too often, but they’re suppose to announce the winners on there.
I read similar article also named ell Precision M4300 Laptop with Your SolidWorks Model and Acrobat 3D | SolidSmack – SolidWorks 3D CAD Technology Design Blog, and it was completely different. Personally, I agree with you more, because this article makes a little bit more sense for me
