PTC Sends Out Blue M&M’S, Changes Name to PTC.

Here at EvD Media HQ we rarely receive FedEx packages that don’t contain hand-carved egg shells, Unicorn Meat, or that limited edition DVD/Vinyl box set of our favorite 3D printing jingle of all time* (*we wish). But today our freshly-pizza-grease-covered-nubs ripped into a surprisingly different–if a bit strange and decidedly anti-climactic–FedEx shipment: blue M&M’S and… a photo-copied press release.

What’s in the Box?!!

We’re big fans of M&M’S, though we have to admit, we’d much prefer the dark-chocolate or peanut varieties to the plain milk chocolate sort we were sent. (Please take note.) BUT, if you’re going to send us candy, then in the name of James E. Heppelmann, it’s POP ROCKS or nothing it all, thanks.

That said, I’m not about to end this day having eaten less than exactly 198.5g of blue PTC-branded, melt-in-your-mouth-not-in-your-hand childhood in a bag.

Oh yeah. And PTC has officially changed its name. To PTC. Boom.

I wish I was a blogger. I could go for some m&ms right now.

If you eat the M&Ms, do you have to disclose this according to FTC blogger guidelines?

  • Adam

Good question. I wonder if EvD Corporate is going to consider the m&m’s a form of compensation and dock my salary as a result.

  • Josh M

The lawyers are sending a form over. Something about a “nondescript chocolate clause”?

  • Simon Martin

Don’t forget the part about the bananas

  • JF Brandon

All these PRs, MMs, 3DS M&As … EvD needs RnR IMHO LOL
