Besides the biggest news at this year’s Autodesk University, there was a lot of other great stuff to take in–including the current state of the Maker movement according to those who know best. As a whole, the event offered some exciting news and insights into what the near future holds…for both Autodesk and the designer/engineer/maker community at large. The Scene

“Cloud…Sustainability…Makers…” If I hear one of those words one more time I think I’ll go crazy, but perhaps it’s a good thing because they are all GREAT things. They were also the subjects of the majority of announcements and forums as Autodesk presented their vision of the future. Between awesome new tech demonstrations in the exhibit hall, to live demos of all the new software offerings in the Autodesk lounge, there was a definite presence of creativity as those in attendance got a peek into the vision of Autodesk’s and their exhibitors’ vision of tomorrow’s powerful capabilities:
