What is SolidSmack?
You are wise to ask. This is a very small behemoth of an online community about 3D CAD, technology, design, robots, ninjas… Ok, maybe not ninjas so much, but those guys are COOL so there just might be something about some dang ninjas. Besides the occasional blast of intensely cool product design and technology, we look at what’s going on in the world of 3D, add a splash of business insight and web tech into the mix and there ya got your SolidSmack.
It’s kinda like your daily multi-vitamin of coolness. If you go without it you could develop some very scary sort of withdrawn social effect like twitching or yelling really loud, so be warned.
So, there’s some of those FAQ thingy’s down below, and if you have summoned all of your might into a provocative and somewhat cohesive thought, question or comment, please contact us.

What is 3D CAD?
Only the coolest way to design anything you can imagine. It’s like digital clay. It’s the Photoshop of 3D mechanical design. There’s a lot of programs that allow you to do this and it’s what SolidSmack is famous for covering with uncanny familiarity and riveting perspective.
Do I have to use 3D CAD, to fully enjoy your site?
Why no, that would be lame and ridiculous. We hope there’s enough other stuff for you here as well. If there’s not, we should be slapped, but we prefer that you give us a suggestion and we will put it through the conbobulator to see if it is worthy of the great content on this site.
Why does SolidSmack want to smack me?
Solidsmack will smack the solid into you – or out of you – it’s really a fine line depending on the velocity of the slap and the rate of something blah blah blah. Anyway, we have no intention of harming you.
Where can I get one of those cool badges?
Well, thanks for thinking they’re so cool. You’re cool and will be cooler if you put one of these on your website or wallpaper or youngest child. You can get those right here in different sizes and flavors, yum.
