Well, the top secret Microsoft technology that was speculated a couple weeks ago, is indeed the Microsoft Research Worldwide Telescope project of Roy Gould and Curtis Wong.
This will be a free download early this Spring at WorldwideTelescope.org.
I have to admit it pretty inspiring and it will be incredible to open of the sky on a large screen monitor.
