Who wouldn’t want a Quad-Core, 16GB, Terabyte powerhouse of a computer, crankin’ a 1GB of graphics power, to sit on their laps in the airport or lug back and forth to the office.
Sound like a briefcase of a computer? It might be, but that won’t keep Dell from the incessant teasing that it will be appearing soon with the unabashed idea that you will want this. Ok, they got us there. We want it, but is the price-point going to be reasonably inexpensive? Will it run that 3D CAD program we all know and love?
See the video after the break.

SolidSmack is a very small behemoth of an online community about 3D CAD, technology, design, robots, and ninjas… Ok, maybe not ninjas so much, but those guys are COOL so there just might be something about some dang ninjas.

…just wating on Intel to officially release quad-core mobile chips….come on Intel!!!
how frickin' hot is this thing going to run – the end of desktops alright, they'll burn baby burn.. like a disco inferno…
On my NW8440 mobile workstation i burn my left pinky when playing games…
But the problem with laptops is that you can't upgrade them like a normal workstation so if your company is going to make bigger cad drawings, or your cad program is going to need more you have to trash the laptop and buy a new one.
But i think it will run pro/e
I would avoid wearing polyester pants and setting this thing on your lap.
Now they need all of this for the Mac..
Dammm serius machine… love to buy one!!
